The partnership, which will take effect from 31 March 2024, will add an additional 35 destinations in Europe to KM Malta Airlines’ route network. Conversely, it improves the connection of Malta flights to the network of the LH airlines Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and Swiss.

KM Malta Airlines is the successor to Air Malta, an airline that is in financial difficulties and will cease operations at the end of March. The new airline will fly to 17 airports in 15 European cities, including Berlin, Düsseldorf and Munich. Bookings can also be made via travel agencies.
