The Kingdom of Bahrain will host the 93rd UFI Global Congress of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry in November 2026. The event will be held in Bahrain for the first time. Those responsible at Exhibition World Bahrain describe this as an “important milestone for the country’s MICE industry”.

The decision was recently made at the UFI European Conference 2024 in Zurich. The congress will be held at Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) in Sakhir and is expected to attract several hundred decision-makers from the MICE industry.

H.E. Fatima bint Jaffar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism and Chairperson of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), is delighted to be hosting the congress: “This is a testament to Bahrain’s commitment to the MICE industry and our ongoing efforts to drive innovation in this promising sector.
